 | In its design, any quick filter with grained charge is a cylinder in which the regenerable filtering medium is arranged. The medium can be regenerated both using chemical reagents (prepared and stored in tanks supplied with the filter) and simply by back washing. For the back washing convenience, the filter can be equipped with a valve mechanism. | The mechanism operation modes can be switched with a signal both from a timer (i.e., at the time and in a day of the week set by the user) and from a flow meter (i.e., the amount of water treated with the filter is counted and the microcomputer gives a command to perform the regeneration). In our assortment there are also filters whose washing is not automated. To wash the filter, a handle on its casing should be turned. The price of such filters is very attractive. We supply filters in fiber glass casings produced in China (Wave Cyber). The control mechanisms we use are produced in the United States (GE Osmonics Autotrol, Clack Corporation). As for the filtering materials, we produce them ourselves and also purchase from the USA (Clack Corporation, Dow Chemicals), Europe (Purolite, Waterlink Sutcliffe), and China.

Mechanical clearing filters of the SF series |
Intended for removing from water suspended particles of size 20–40 μm (sand, silt, rust, etc.) by deposition in the filtering bed and discharge of the accumulated contaminations into the drainage in the course of back washing.
Suitable filtering materials are quartz sand, combination of quartz sand and anthracite, or Filter AG medium (dehydrated silica). Filter AG has a developed surface of grains and low (compared to quartz sand) bulk weight, which ensures high filtration quality. Its efficient back washing can be performed at a lower flow velocity.

Mechanical clearing and deironing filters of the SF Pyrolox series |

The filtering material is a combination of dehydrated silica (Filter AG) with the Pyrolox mineral based on manganese dioxide in 2 : 1 ratio.
This mixed charge allows efficient removal from water of mechanical impurities, dissolved iron in an amount of 2–3 mg/l, and also hydrogen sulfide. Because of high density of Pyrolox, these filters require large flows for back washing.

Sorption filters of ÑF series |
Intended for removing from water dissolved organic impurities, free chlorine and its derivatives, foreign taste, odor, and color.
The filtering material is activated charcoal prepared from coconut shells. As compared to, e.g., birch charcoal, it exhibits high wear resistance and high sorption capacity. Regeneration of the filtering medium involves no chemicals—just wash with a back flow of water.

Deironing filters of the GS series |
Filters of the GS series are intended for removing from water iron, manganese (total initial concentration of up to 15 mg/l), and hydrogen sulfide (H2S, initial concentration up to 5 mg/l) at pH of water 6.2–8.5.
The filters are charged with Manganese Green Sand material, which is crushed glauconite (zeolite group mineral) coated with a manganese dioxide film. Instead of Manganese Green Sand, its analog MTM, in which a manganese dioxide film is applied onto a synthetic support, can be used.
